The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 26 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 621 more Iowans have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The number of new positive tests reported brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 333,383.
The data shows there have been 5,400 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 2,144 were residents of long term care facilities.
