Two Winnebago Residents Injured in I-90 Accident early on Tuesday Morning

Two Winnebago residents were injured in an accident on I-90 early this morning, north of Bricelyn.

 

The Minnesota State Patrol says two vehicles, both westbound on the interstate, collided at 12:41am.

 

According to the report, 62 year old Maria Vargas, of Winnebago, was the driver of one of the vehicles.  Vargas and her passenger both suffered non life threatening injuries and were transported to the United Hospital in Blue Earth for treatment.

 

A Texas man driving the other vehicle was no injured.

 

According to the State Patrol, roads were dry at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
