Crop Planting In MN and Iowa Well Ahead of Last Year According to the USDA

The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service released the crop progress report for Minnesota and Iowa for the week ending April 21st.  Fieldwork included tillage and planting of small grains and row crops. MN Gains 11,000 Jobs in March

March was a month of job growth for the state of Minnesota. According to data released Thursday from the Department of Employment and Economic Development, 11,000 jobs were gained with 3,000 workers joining the labor force last month. Minnesota’s unemployment rate sits at 2.7%, lower than the national rate of 3.8%.read more »

Unemployment in Iowa Sees Slight Decrease in March
