Winnebago Police Requesting the Public’s Help After Vehicle Break-ins

In the overnight hours of Thursday, April 25th, through the early hours of Friday, April 26th, there were multiple cases of vehicles being broken into in Winnebago.  The Winnebago Police Department is looking for any information or video footage residents may have.  Please call the Winnebago Police Department at 507-893-3218.  Also, please remember to keep your vehicles locked.

William “Bill” Blashack

A Funeral Service for William “Bill” Blashack, age 68, of Nicollet, will be Monday, April 29th, at 10:30am, at the Catholic Church of St. Paul in Nicollet.  Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-5pm, at the Church.  William Blashack died Tuesday, April 23rd, at his home.

Drop Off Unwanted Prescription Drugs at the Sheriff’s Department on Saturday

The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the DEA “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day” event on Saturday, April 27th, from 10am to 2pm.

The event is a free service for anyone wishing to drop off any unwanted to unused prescription medication for safe and proper disposal.

Any unwanted or unused prescription medication item may be dropped off at the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, located at 320 Dr. H Russ Street in Blue Earth.

There is a drop box in the lobby for unwanted or unused medications if you are not able to bring them Saturday, you can drop them off anytime.

Carol Ann Ruser

A Visitation for Carol Ann Ruser, age 75, of Blue Earth, will be Saturday, April 27th, from 10am-12pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Blue Earth.  A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.  Carol Ruser passed unexpectedly while on a trip with her family in Mexico.

Geneva “Tootie” Prescher

A Funeral Service for Geneva “Tootie” Prescher, age 98, of Blue Earth, will be Friday, April 26th, at 11am, at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Blue Earth.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 25th, from 5-7pm, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Friday Morning.  Geneva Prescher died Saturday, April 20th, at United Hospital District, Blue Earth.

Raymond Rauenhorst

A Funeral Service for Raymond J. Rauenhorst, age 82, of Easton, will be Wednesday, April 24th, at 11am, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Easton.  Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4-7pm, at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Wednesday Morning.  Raymond Rauenhorst died Friday, April 19th, at his home in Easton.
