Police in Albert Lea arrested a North Iowa woman Friday morning after reports were received of gunshots being fired at an Albert Lea Hotel.
At around 8:50am, Officers were called to the Albert Lea Motel 6, located in the 2000 block of East Main Street. The caller reported that a woman had fired a bullet into a hotel room door before fleeing the scene. Police located the suspect a short distance from the hotel a few minutes later. A firearm was also found, according to Police reports.
Jussica Hutfles, 31, of Mason City, Iowa, was arrested by Police and now faces charges in connection with the incident.
