The filing period for political seats ended Tuesday and of the three seats available for Faribault County Commissioner, only one is being contested.
District 1 incumbent John Roper will face off against Brenda Baldwin and Gertrude Paschke in the November 5th election.
In District 3, incumbent Bill Groskreutz Jr. is running unopposed as well as District 5 incumbent Bruce Anderson.
Martin County also has County Commissioner seats up for election in Districts 1, 3 and 5.
Running in District 1 are Michael Anderson, Brad Buhmann and Kevin Kristenson, District 3 has Joe Loughmiller and Michael Schutz facing off and in District 5, three individuals are running; Tyler Ask, Tiffany Nelson and Billeye Rabbe.
