With the elevated wildfire risk, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office has issued a burn ban for the county until further notice.
The very low relative humidity values of 15 to 25 percent, northwest winds at 5 to 15 mph and dry vegetation will result in an elevated wildfire risk.
With the burn ban in effect, any open burning is prohibited.
