A Fairmont man was injured in a two vehicle accident in Fairmont on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 3:04pm, a Chevrolet Camaro driven by 68 year old Jeffry Alan Heupel of Fairmont was southbound on Highway 15, attempting to make a left turn onto Blue Earth Ave as a 2018 Toyota Prius, driven by 70 year old Scott Lynn Tow, also of Fairmont, was northbound on Highway 15, where the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Heupel was transported to the Fairmont hospital with non life threatening injuries, Tow was not injured in the accident.
Both men were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
The Fairmont Police Department, Fairmont Fire and Ambulance assisted on scene.
