Winnebago Woman Receives Minor Injuries in Sunday Morning Rollover

A rural Winnebago woman received minor injuries in a one vehicle accident late Sunday morning.

According to the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 11:18am on Sunday, the office received a report of a single vehicle crash at the intersection of 430th Ave and 85th St.  During the investigation of the crash, it was learned the 2019 Nissan Rogue, driven by 21 year old Lyndsey Borris of rural Winnebago, entered the east ditch while negotiating a curve and began to skid.  The vehicle hit a curve sign and jumped the intersection, landing in the northeast corner.

Borris was checked out at the scene and released to family.  The vehicle was towed form the scene due to disabling damage.
