The woman accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from the North Union Sports Booster Club is pleading not guilty.
Forty two year old Erin Michelle Fraker of Bancroft, is now scheduled to stand trial starting May 25th in Kossuth County District Court. Fraker is charged with second degree theft for allegedly stealing $5,820 from the booster club.
Investigators say North Union leased the baseball park in Bancroft and the booster club operates the concession stand. Fraker is accused of keeping some of the money for herself and not depositing it with the North Union Booster Club.
The investigation began on November 10th, 2023, after law enforcement was contacted about money taken from the concession stand receipts for the 2023 North Union Baseball Team.
