Last week, Blue Earth Area Activities Director and Assistant Football Coach Travis Armstrong was named a recipient of the 2023 Butch Nash award from the Minnesota Football Coaches Association.
The award, which is named after longtime Minnesota Gophers Assistant Coach Butch Nash, is presented to assistant coaches in the state who significantly contribute to their school’s football program and embodies qualities that define them as the ideal assistant coach.
Armstrong will be honored at the Minnesota’s Football Coaches Association’s 60th Annual Football Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday, April 6th.
