Wells City Council Contracts With CEDA to Fill Community Development Director Position

The Wells City Council met on Monday and it was Tiffany Schrader’s first meeting as City Administrator.

Schrader says since taking over on the 15th, things have been going good so far.

With Schrader taking over as City Administrator, that leaves her former position of Community Development Director open.

Schrader says the council discussed whether to fill the position with a full time employee or contract with an outside service and ultimately decided to contract with the Community Economic Development Association (CEDA).

The council’s decision to go with CEDA will be beneficial to the city both financially and transitionally.  The city is looking at a one year contract, with CEDA coming to City Hall around three times a week.
