The Faribault County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday and at the meeting, received a request from County Assessor Brady Rauenhorst for a part time contracted worker in his office to help alleviate staffing issues.
Commissioner Tom Loveall says Steve Robbins, who recently retired, has agreed to come back on a part time basis to train and help with the workload in the office.
Loveall says the contract with Robbins is for six months with the option to evaluate the position after that.
The Assessor’s Office is also taking applications for a Property Appraiser. Applications will be accepted at the Central Services Office through 4:30pm on January 19th.
