The Faribault County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday appointed Brady Rauenhorst as the new County Assessor, replacing former Assessor Gertrude Paschke who retired in December.
Commissioner Greg Young says Paschke will be missed, but the commissioners wish her well in retirement.
Young says the Commissioners have a lot of confidence in Paschke’s successor as Rauenhorst has had all the proper training and is well qualified for the position. Young adds that the commissioners have a lot of confidence in him.
The board also selected Bill Groskreutz as Chair and John Roper as Vice Chair for the year and appointed individual commissioners to certain committees for 2024.
