The new equipment that the Faribault County Highway Department has been trying to purchase continues to be an issue.
Commissioner John Roper says they’ve been unable to get two snowplows and motorgrader for two years now.
Since those budgeted dollars were not spent this year, the board took action to designate those funds for use in 2024.
The Commissioners did agree and approve the purchase of one piece of equipment that was available, which was a Bobcat skid steer loader from Yeager Implement.
