UHD Announces New Provider at Their Blue Earth Clinic

United Hospital District (UHD) of Blue Earth announces the expansion of their Family Medicine Department with the arrival of new provider Megan Eitzmann, a Family Nurse Practitioner who is seeing patients in UHD’s Blue Earth Clinic.

A local from the Blue Earth area, Eitzmann holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, which is the highest level of training for a nurse practitioner.  She comes to UHD with 19 years of nursing and leadership experience, having cared for patients across the lifespan while working on various units including medical/surgery, labor and delivery, post-partum, newborn care, emergency department, ICU and PCU.

UHD CEO Rick Ash stated, “We are excited to have Megan join the UHD team.  Her focus on quality rural healthcare with a full scope continuum of care will be a tremendous addition to our healthcare services.”

Eitzmann brings the provider total to 14 in UHD’s Family Medicine Department and will se patients of all ages and has special interest in women’s health and preventative medicine.
