The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors set the date and time for a public hearing to receive comments on a proposed amendment to the county’s zoning ordinance that would regulate the transportation of hazardous liquids through a pipeline during a special meeting this past Thursday.
The board set the public hearing for 10am on Tuesday, November 21st, at the Kossuth County Election Center. The County Planning and Zoning Commission made the recommendations to the Supervisors earlier this year with regards to regulating hazardous liquid pipelines, but the board has yet to take action on those recommendations.
