The Martin County West school district continues their public meetings to provide information about the November 7th bond referendum, asking voters to weigh in on whether to build a new building to house all students and staff in preschool through 12th grade under one roof in Sherburn.
The ballot for the referendum asks two questions of voters. Question 1 is $63 million for a new school building to serve all the school district’s students and question 2 is for $9 million for a 400 seat auditorium and additional gym for the new school.
The next meeting will be held Tuesday, from 5:30-6:30pm at the Welcome Legion and the final meeting will be held on Monday, October 20th, from 6:30-7:30pm at the Dunnell Community Hall.
