An Easton man has been arrested in connection with three large fires that investigators say were intentionally set on Friday.
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check and a potential structure fire at 20061 460th Ave in rural Easton at about 6:30pm.
Three large fires were burning on the property when deputies arrived on the scene. The residence, a garage and two vehicles were all estimated as total losses as a result of the fires.
Sixty three year old Steven Gray was found at the scene and taken into custody without incident on three counts of first degree arson.
Fire Departments from Easton, Wells, Delavan and Minnesota Lake were able to suppress and gain control of the fires within two hours.
