Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar recently visited United Hospital District in Blue Earth. The Senator enjoyed a guided tour of UHD’s hospital and Blue Earth Clinic as she made visits to various key Minnesota businesses last week.
Senator Klobuchar has taken a special interest in the importance of rural healthcare and the need for its accessibility in small communities across the state.
During her appearance on Friday, the Senator toured UHD’s state of the art medical facilities, engaged in discussions about rural healthcare and met with UHD healthcare providers and administrators to gain valuable insight into the challenges and triumphs of healthcare in the community.
The visit also provided an opportunity for discussion about legislative efforts aimed at strengthening Minnesota’s healthcare system, improving patient care and addressing pressing healthcare challenges facing rural communities throughout the state.
