BEA Board Gets an Update on Enrollment at Their Meeting Monday Night

The Blue Earth Area School Board received an update from Superintendent Mandy Fletcher about enrollment during their meeting on Monday night.

Fletcher says it’s really important to keep an eye on enrollment, as that dictates how much funding that the district gets.

Fetcher says there’s an increase this year of 8 students, which is the fifth year in a row of an increase, but next year is looking to be a decrease in students.

The estimated incoming Kindergarten class next year is around 30 students less than the graduating senior class this school year.
