Elmore City Council Approves Continuing Operation of the Liquor Store Following P&L Review

The Elmore City Council met in regular session on Monday night, addressing a number of items on their agenda.

The Council renewed the snow removal contract with Ray Hornke at $110 an hour.  The Municipal Liquor Store Profit and Loss Report was reviewed, showing a year to date gain of $6,546.57.  With that profit, the Council approved continuing the operation of the Liquor Store.

The City will also be selling 14 empty lots by sealed bids.  The details of the terms sale will be placed in the legal section of the Faribault County Register.  The bids must be returned to the City of Elmore by October 13th.

A special council meeting was set for September 27th, at 4pm, to approved the 2024 budget and to finalize the details of auctioning city lots with houses.
