The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistic Service released the crop progress report for Minnesota and Iowa for the week ending September 10th.
In Minnesota, corn in the dent stage was 86% and the crop began to mature at 37%. Corn condition was 39% good to excellent.
Iowa’s corn crop in the dent stage was 90% and 38% of the state’s corn crop has reached maturity. Corn condition was 46% good to excellent.
Minnesota’s soybeans turning color were 67% with 31% dropping leaves. Soybean condition was 45% good to excellent.
In Iowa, soybeans turning color was at 67%, with 25% of leaves dropping. Soybean condition was 44% good to excellent.
