The Blue Earth City Council received an update on the Putnam Park Tennis Court Project at their Council Meeting on Monday night.
Mayor Rick Scholtes said that the bids are in and four companies submitted bids for the project. The bids include the removal of the old courts and two alternate bids for either a blacktop or concrete surface for the new courts. Scholtes said that the cost is around $970,000 for blacktop and about $1.3 million for concrete.
The project is scheduled to start in September and will be completed around July, 2024.
