Back in June the City of Winnebago announced Norma Schmitt as the Winnebago Hall of Fame inductee for 2023.
To celebrate her induction there will be a Hall of Fame Open House on Saturday from 2 to 4pm at the Winnebago Municipal Center with a presentation at 3pm.
Schmitt has been a very involved resident of the Winnebago area as she has served as chairperson for the Faribault County DFL, served on the board at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a member of Winnebago’s Chamber of Commerce Board, as well as other numerous groups over the many years.
Schmitt has also been a news correspondent on KBEW for the Winnebago Community for many years.
Everyone is welcome to attend the open house honoring Winnebago Hall of Fame recipient Norma Schmitt on Saturday at the Municipal Center from 2-4pm.
