A traffic stop late last week in Northern Kossuth County has resulted in multiple charges being filed against a Swea City man.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop near Swea City around 11:45pm on Thursday, July 20th. After conducting a brief investigation, deputies arrested the driver, identified as 57 year old David Wayne Braun.
Braun is facing a charge of OWI 2nd Offense, an aggravated misdemeanor, along with one count of interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor.
Braun is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Kossuth County District Court on August 10th.
