A one vehicle accident Wednesday Afternoon on Interstate 90, east of Blue Earth, has claimed the life of a Michigan man.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, just before 1pm, a Freightliner Semi and Trailer, driven by a 56 year old man from Lansing, Michigan, was eastbound on I-90 at Mile Marker 127 in Emerald Township, when the semi left the roadway, went into the median and then across the westbound lanes of I-90, which were closed for construction. The semi then went into the north ditch of I-90 and rolled.
Assisting at the scene were the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Earth Fire Department, Frost Fire Department and Frost Ambulance.
