The Faribault County FSA Office would like to remind producers participating in the ARC/PLC program that you are required to provide some type of cover on your acres to ensure that there is not wind or water erosion occurring on those acres.
Faribault County FSA Director Nicky Miranowski says there were some areas where replanting was done because of heavy rains this spring. If you were not able to replant acres, you must control the weeds and wind and water erosion on those acres.
If producers have questions on the specifics about the cover or ARC/PLC acres, the FSA Office has a handout available to pick up and refer to.
