The Wells Fire Department was called to the scene of a fire on Wednesday around 3pm at the Wells Family Video building on South Broadway in Wells. Firefighters arrived to find the fire had taken hold of the upper level of the building, which was occupied by a family and their pet dog. All of the occupants were able to escape unharmed.
The fire was put out by the Wells Fire Department with the aid of the Easton and Minnesota Lake Fire Departments. The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
