City Engineer Wes Brown has announced to the City Council at Monday night’s meeting that the 2022 Street Project has wrapped, with the installation of sod being completed.
The 2023 Street Project is expected to begin in the first week of June and tree removal is planned for the last week of May. However, the start dates are tentative at the moment.
Brown also proposed that the city have a feasibility study done for Riverside Heights, similar to the one done for the street project, in order to get a scope and detailed cost of the project. The study needs to be done prior to the July funding grant decline.
The City Council voted to approve the Riverside Heights Extension Feasibility Study in order to iron out details of routing sewer and water lines to Riverside Heights.
