The 39th Annual Kiwanis/First Bank Blue Earth Academic Awards & Scholarship Program will be held at Blue Earth Area High School on Friday evening, May 12th. The banquet will begin at 7pm in the High School Performing Arts Center with the program, awards ceremony and dessert to follow.
Students in grade 8-12 will be recognized individually for their academic achievement by receiving certificates and medals. Also, the Kiwanis Club, along with several other businesses and organizations, will be presenting financial scholarships to graduating students.
Tickets can be purchased from the Principal’s Office at the high school or from any member of the Blue Earth Kiwanis Club for only $10 per ticket. Those who would like to sponsor and honor student can purchase a ticket and put their name on the back of the ticket and they will make sure that the honor student will receive that ticket.
