The search for the next Executive Director of the Blue Earth Chamber of Commerce has begun following the resignation of current Director Shellie Poetter at the Board of Directors meeting in March.
Poetter told the board that she’ll do everything possible to wrap up her duties and be available to aid the new director during the transition.
The board hopes to have a person hired before June 3rd, so that person can work with Poetter for a period of time and learn the position.
Poetter says she appreciates the time spend in the Executive Director position and will cherish the valuable experience she gained while service as Chamber Director.
