Fairmont Man to Be Sentenced at the End of March

A  42 year old Fairmont man has been convicted by a jury on February 17th of being an ineligible person in possession of a firearm and will be sentenced later this month.

Justin T. Keodouangdy was arrested following the execution of a search warrant on December 21st, 2020 in Jackson, during which the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office found he was in possession of a 9mm handgun with a scratched off serial number.

Keodouangdy is scheduled to be sentenced March 28th.  The offense carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 60 months in prison.
