Fire crews found a home fully engulfed in flames when they responded to a report of a house fire on Thursday morning in Mapleton.
Fire Departments from Mapleton, Wells, Minnesota Lake, Good Thunder and Amboy were called in to respond to the fire at 209 4th Ave SE. The fire was extinguished and the scene was considered to be under control by 11:30 Thursday morning.
Reports say that the home’s occupants were able to safely evacuate and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
