The Blue Earth City Council met for their first meeting of the new year Tuesday night, where the new and re-elected council members were sworn in to begin their terms as city officials, this included High School Student Cass Davis, as an honorary council member.
The session was brief, as it was primarily used for house keeping items such as assigning roles to council members and confirming committee positions.
The Council also heard from City Engineer Wes Brown. Brown told the council that plans for the 2023 street renovation projects are nearing completion and will be ready for review in the near future.
