UHD Announces New Providers

United Hospital District in Blue Earth announced the addition of three new providers to their medical staff.

In a press release, UHD says that Jia-Shyuan Su, MD has joined the Family Medicine department in the Blue Earth Clinic. Newly relocated from the Twin Cities area, Dr. Su is a Minnesota native and 2021 graduate of the Family Medicine residency program at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis. She practices Family Medicine and Obstetrics, with special interests in women’s health, reproductive health and minor office procedures.

Dana Heins, PMHNP-BC is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, she cares for the mental and emotional well-being of patients of all ages. Dana is able to address medication management with her patients, and has particular interest in treating anxiety and depression, personality disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and substance use disorders.

Maria Krusemark, CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who comes to UHD after 12 years primarily in the skilled nursing facility setting. She treats adults and children with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Based in the Rehabilitation Therapies department, Maria is also available to treat Home Health and Hospice patients.

UHD CEO Rick Ash stated, “We are excited to add Dr. Jia-Shyuan (pronounced josh-wan) Su, Dana Heins and Maria Krusemark to UHD’s provider panel. As a local independent healthcare system, we are continually working to provide services that our community needs and to keep healthcare as close to home as possible. We believe these new providers have skills that will be quite valuable to our patients and we are fortunate to have such dedicated providers and staff available to those we serve.”
