2022 Minnesota State Election Results

Yesterday was election day in Minnesota and inn the Governor’s race, DFL Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan defeated Republican challengers Scott Jensen and running mate Matt Birk.

Current DFL Secretary of State Steve Simon defeated Republican Kim Crockett.  In the race for State Auditor DFL Incumbent Julie Blaha defeated Republican Ryan Wilson and Attorney General Keith Ellison defeated Republican Jim Schultz.

More locally, in the race for the U.S. House of Representatives seat in District 1, Republican Incumbent Brad Finstad defeated the DFL’s Jeff Ettinger.

Republican Rich Draheim won the MN Senate District 22 seat, he ran unopposed. Republican Gene Dornick defeated DFLer Brandon Lawhead in Senate District 23,  Republican Imcumbent Bjorn Olson defeated the DFL’s Marisa Ulmen for the State Representative Seat in District 22A and in District 23A, Republican Incumbent Peggy Bennet defeated the DFL’s Mary Hinnenkamp.
