A 16 year old was struck and killed by a train late Tuesday night in Albert Lea.
Authorities say it happened at 11:30pm near the intersection of Garfield Ave and Ramsey St.
A press released said “the train was traveling southeast approaching this crossing when the crew observed a person laying across the railroad tracks. Immediate actions to stop the train before striking the person were unsuccessful.”
No four play is suspected.
