Heading into the third weekend in September, AAA reports that gas prices in Minnesota are lower than they were a week ago, while prices in Iowa are higher than last week.
The average price in Minnesota is reported at $3.64 a gallon, compared to $3.67 a gallon last week.
The average price in Iowa is currently $3.47 a gallon, compared to $3.41 the previous week.
Mississippi has the lowest average price in the nation at $3.12 a gallon.
The national average price per gallon is currently $3.69.
