Bevcomm Offering Reward After A Utility Box Was Shot Sometime Friday Afternoon, Causing Internet Outage

On Friday, August 19, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office was notified that someone had used a firearm to shoot holes into a utility box located at the intersection of 85th St and 360th Ave between 1:30pm and 4:30pm.  The damage from the shooting caused a service outage for Bevcomm internet customers in the area for several hours.

Due to the severity and cost of the repairs, Bevcomm is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the damage.
