Heading into the first weekend of August, AAA reports that gas prices in Minnesota and Iowa are lower than they were a week ago.
The average gas price in Minnesota is at $4.04 a gallon, compared to $4.19 a gallon a week ago.
In Iowa the average price per gallon is at $3.73, compared to $3.93 last week.
Texas had the lowest average price in the nation at $3.62 a gallon.
The national average price per gallon is currently $4.11.
