Sunday at approximately 9:18pm, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Earth Police Department and Winnebago Police Department worked together to capture 25 year old Christian Jogodzinske, of Welcome, for outstanding warrants.
Local agencies received information that Jogodzinske was coming to Winnebago and deputies observed him driving a vehicle northbound on Highway 169. When deputies pulled over the vehicle, Jogodzinske fled into a nearby bean field. Deputies pursued the suspect on foot and placed him into custody without incident.
Jogodzinske advised Law Enforcement that he could not breathe and an ambulance was paged. He was transported to United Hospital District and evaluated, then taken to the Faribault County Jail and booked for fleeing law enforcement and outstanding warrants.
