Winnebago Industries Completed Nearly 1,400 Mile Journey in an All Electric Motorhome Earlier this Month

Winnebago Industries, earlier this month, completed a more than 1,300 mile journey with the new all electric zero emission motorhome, the first known trip over 1000 miles by an all electric RV.  The e-RV was introduced back in January at the Florida RV Super Show by the company’s Advanced Technology Group as a fully functional, all electric concept vehicle.

Winnebago CEO Michael Happe says the trip shows that electrification will be a continually evolving chapter of the company’s legacy.

The road trip lasted 1,380 miles over a span of 26 hours.  The average charge time at DC fast chargers was just over an hour, with a total charging cost for the trip of $275.
