On Thursday, May 30th, at about 12:30am, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of gunfire in Kiester.
After approximately 3 house of negotiations, the Sheriff’s Office called in the SCDIU Swat and Negotiation Team for assistance.
After brief negotiations, the occupants were safely removed from the location.
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and state there is no risk to public safety.
The Wells Police Department and the SDIU Swat and Negotiation Team assisted the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
