Faribault County Deputies Recover Meth and Other Narcotics from Blue Earth Man

On Wednesday, May 29th, at about 3:30am, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle that had driven into a backyard and parked near a house on a rural Winnebago acreage.  While deputies were en route, the caller stated that they did not recognize the man that was walking around their home with a flashlight.

When Faribault County deputies arrived, they identified the man as 48 year old Travis Boettcher, of Blue Earth.  A search of Boettcher’s vehicle resulted in the discovery of a substantial amount of illegal narcotics.  An additional search warrant was then issued for Boettcher’s home in Blue Earth, as well as his other vehicles.  A total of three quarters of a pound of methamphetamine was found.  Boettcher is currently in custody at the Faribault County Law Enforcement Center.

The Blue Earth Police Department and MN State Patrol assisted the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
