North Union to Offer Meals for Children During the Month of June

The North Union Community School District announced this week that they will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program, sponsored by the United State Department of Agriculture.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

Lunch will be served (or be taken to go) on a first come, first served basis at the North Union High School beginning June 1st.  Meals will be served from 11:15am – 12pm Monday through Thursday each week from June 1st until June 30th.

They will also be providing meals on Monday’s and Wednesday through June at the North Union and Middle School building in Swea City.

Children will be able to pick up 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches each day from 11am-12pm at the Swea City Building.
