An Elmore man was injured in a single vehicle accident Monday evening in Faribault County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened around 9:20pm on Highway 169 just north of the Minnesota/Iowa border.
The State Patrol says a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 45 year old Shawn Richards was southbound on Highway 169 just north of Elmore when he lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a power line and rolled over.
Richards was taken to United Hospital in Blue Earth with non life threatening injuries.
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Department, Elmore Fire Department, Blue Earth Fire Department and UHB Ambulance assisted at the scene.
