The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash shortly after 8:30 on Tuesday morning, south of Blue Earth, near the intersection of County Road 4 and 395th Ave.
The driver of the vehicle, 30 year old Cesar Hinostroza, of Bricelyn, was driving west on County Road 4, when his vehicle exited the road to the south and entered the ditch. The vehicle hit a driveway approach before coming to rest in the ditch.
Hinostraza was transported to United Hospital District in Blue Earth and later airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the Blue Earth Ambulance and Blue Earth Fire Department.
