Motorists are advised that construction is beginning on County Road 7 in Mapleton.
While the road will remain open to traffic, drivers will se shoulder closures and lane shifts due to hydrant relocation and sidewalk construction on Central Avenue, between Borchert Street and Lincoln Street in Mapleton.
This is part of a larger project to reconstruction County Road 7.
The current road is a rural two lane highway and will be improved to help with the construction of the new K-12 school for the Maple River School District.
Construction is scheduled to begin toward the end of this week, with the full road closure expected to happen within the next couple of weeks.
