The Winnebago City Council has decided to hire Judy Hynes as the new City Administrator. Hynes was originally the runner up behind Robert Harris III and was selected after Harris turned down the offer last week. The Council decided to hire Hynes rather than reopen the position to the public.
Hynes’ annual salary will be $52,582, plus retirement and insurance benefits, for a total of $71,448. Councilman Tim Hynes, Judy’s husband, resigned due to the conflict of interest.
